Honeygrl is the musical project of Minnesota native Abbey Doerre, an emerging voice in the indie pop/rock scene. Based in Minneapolis, honeygrl’s sound blends the raw edge of punk with the introspective lyricism of indie folk music. Her music often explores themes of self-discovery, and on The Current’s Scouting Report, she’s been compared to artists like Soccer Mommy, as well as Blondie.
